I need economical transport for traveling around Turkey

ryxo
I'm planning a trip from Canada to Turkey. I need a budget-friendly option for getting around the cities and resorts. What type of transportation is optimal in terms of cost and convenience for a couple with small luggage? I'm looking for practical solutions.

For travel between Antalya and Istanbul, intercity buses are the best option. This is the most cost-effective option. Within the cities, use public transportation: trams and the metro in Istanbul, buses in Antalya.

You might want to consider renting a car. This will give you more freedom to travel around resorts and between cities. In Türkiye, you can find economy car rental, which can be more cost-effective than buses for long-distance trips. For example, to compare models and prices, check out the catalog here https://turkey-rentcar.ru/en/catalog/economy/ Consider parking costs and toll roads.
