So here’s my thing—midnight hits, I’m bored, everyone’s asleep, and I don’t feel like scrolling TikTok for the 100th time. I used to open up
Omegle TV, hit “video chat,” and let randomness take over. Some convos were terrible, sure. But once in a while, you’d meet someone truly weird or wonderful.
Now that Omegle’s gone, I’ve been experimenting with other platforms. Omegla Live has been the best one so far. It feels like it captures the randomness without too much nonsense. I even met a guy who plays banjo in Canada. Wild.
Anyone else using it during those "I should be sleeping but I’m not" hours? Does it stay active late at night your time? I feel like the user base is more global than most other alternatives.
Also, how are you all handling the filter settings? Sometimes I want pure randomness—other times, I just want to chat with someone who speaks English.
